Devotion is a series of paintings initially inspired by my visit to Fatima, Portugal during  Camino de Santiago I completed in 2022. I got intrigued by the story of Marian apparitions and three little children that subsequently sacrificed their lives for a task that was believed to be given to them by something much Bigger and Lighter than themselves. I started asking myself about the essence of Devotion, its origins and sacrifices needed within the human soul; to be soon confronted with my own devotional part when the series became more autobiographical.  

These are the first four paintings out of six of the series.
